Rehabilitation Counselors and Professional Association of Arkansas (RCPAA) is offering 5 scholarships to support students dedicated to rehabilitation counseling or related fields. This is an incredible opportunity to receive financial assistance and pursue your passion for helping individuals with disabilities.
Application Deadline: February 14, 2025
Each scholarship is valued at $2,000.00
1. Full time student in good standing
2. Major in rehabilitation counseling or related field
3. Knowledge of NRCA, RCPAA and public vocational rehabilitation programs
1. Must submit documentation in MS WORD or ADOBE (PDF) formatting
2. Include all attachments in one email
3. Specify which scholarship you are applying for
4. Required documentation of all scholarships (if all items are not included, it will not be considered)
a. Cover letter with reason for chosen field, current school status, financial need and future career goals must all be addressed.
b. Information sheet including your email address, physical address and phone number.
c. Official transcripts
d. 3 letters of recommendation with two of them being from college/university staff
1. Applicants will be interviewed by RCPAA scholarship committee. This can be via zoom or in person.
2. The selected winners will be notified and expected to be present at the 2025 RCPAA Conference in Hot Springs, AR.
3. The winners selected will be acknowledged at the 2025 RCPAA Conference.
1. Full Time Graduate student (9 credit hours) at an Arkansas University
2. Major in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
3. GPA of 3.0 or higher and in good standing
4. Seeking CRC
1. Full Time Graduate Student (9 credit hours)
2. Major in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
1. Full Time Graduate Student (9 credit hours)
2. Must be enrolled at UALR
3. 3.0 GPA and in good standing
4. Major in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
1. Full Time Graduate student (9 credit hours) or Full Time Undergraduate Student (12 credit hours)
2. Major in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
3. Arkansas college or university
4. 3.0 GPA and in good standing
5. Demonstrated compassion and leadership (role model)
1. Full time undergraduate student (12 credit hours) with major in rehabilitation sciences
2. Arkansas Tech University Student in good standing with a 2.5 GPA
3. Completed 75 credit hours
